AGM January 2026

CNWWA AGM   held on Thursday 22nd January 2026

The meeting was well attend by 23 members and prospective members.
The minutes will be issued in due course but the main points were:

Subscription fees for 2026 are to be increased from £45 to £50

Volunteers are required to help with the Northern Woodturning event which is to be held on 11th and 12th of April.
Anyone interested in participating in this event please contact Paul Williams (Competition organiser).

After the AGM:

SEf Chambers gave us a quick demonstration of the process of turning a sphere.
This included how to mark up the blank and the making and use of ‘cup chucks’ to accomplish this.
